Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using AI Study Zone ("the Service"), you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all of the terms and conditions, you must not use the Service. Our Service is developed and maintained by the AI Study Zone team.

2. Merchant of Record (Paddle)

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller, Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries regarding payments, billing, processing, and handles returns. By purchasing a PRO Key, you are also bound by Paddle’s Checkout Buyer Terms and Conditions.

3. Subscriptions & Billing

AI Study Zone offers premium features via our "Genius PRO" tier, typically billed on a 6-month cycle.

• Billing: You will be billed in advance on a recurring, periodic basis depending on your subscription plan.
• Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription renewal at any time through your billing portal provided by Paddle. Cancellation stops future charges, but you will retain access to PRO features until the end of your current billing cycle.

4. Refund Policy (退款政策)

Due to the nature of digital software and instant-access AI resources, our refund policy is strictly enforced to prevent abuse:

• Digital Delivery: Upon successful payment, your PRO License Key is delivered and activated instantly. As a result, we generally do not offer "change of mind" refunds once a key has been used or activated.
• Technical Failures: If you experience a critical technical fault that prevents you from accessing the Service, you may request a refund within 7 days of your original purchase.
• Dispute Process: All refund requests must be routed through Paddle's customer support or via support@aistudyzone.com with proof of technical failure.

5. Acceptable Use License

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use AI Study Zone strictly for educational and personal purposes. You are expressly prohibited from:

• Using the AI to generate illegal, harmful, toxic, or explicit content.
• Attempting to reverse-engineer, decompile, or "jailbreak" our neural engine or proprietary architecture.
• Using automated bots, scrapers, or web crawlers to extract data or AI responses from our interface.
• Reselling, sharing, or distributing your PRO License Key to multiple individuals. Keys are for single-user use only. Account sharing will result in an immediate hardware and IP ban without a refund.

6. AI Accuracy & Educational Disclaimer

AI Study Zone utilizes highly advanced, experimental Artificial Intelligence (Large Language Models). While we strive for absolute accuracy, AI systems may occasionally produce "hallucinations," incorrect mathematical formulas, historical inaccuracies, or logical errors.

The Service is an educational aid, not a substitute for formal instruction. You are solely responsible for cross-referencing and verifying all AI-generated information against your official textbooks and curriculum before submitting homework or taking exams.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

The Service, including its original content, UI/UX design, graphics, SVGs, and source code, is the exclusive property of AI Study Zone. You retain all rights to the personal documents, essays, and text prompts you upload into the system. We do not claim ownership of your personal study materials.

8. Account Security

You are responsible for safeguarding the password and License Key that you use to access the Service. You agree not to disclose your password or Key to any third party. You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.

9. Termination of Service

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach these Terms of Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

10. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall AI Study Zone, its founders, or its suppliers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, academic failures, loss of data, loss of profits, or other intangible losses resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service. In all cases, our maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the past 12 months.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Merchant of Record (Paddle) operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
